The Prince Part 7

Thank you for the observation, but you are partially correct. There are diverse ways of writing spoken text, as you can find in books written in different languages. In English written books, you will find quotation marks indicate spoken text, meanwhile in Spanish written books, you will find the dashed line is used to indicate spoken text. So, in my perspective, I wouln´t say that because you use one or the other, you are a REAL writer, but I will surely take it into consideration. Since I am currently living in Mexico, I got used to the dashed line, so, I'm very sorry, if I offended your idea of how a REAL writer should write. From now on, I will use quotation marks, and I will modify my other texts, so that I won't keep offending REAL writers everywhere. Hopefully, you can take some time to research, how REAL writers around the world write. Once again, thank you, all criticism will allow me to write even better content. :) |
