2020-04-29 20:55:07 | The Things We Do at Home - part 3 | That was excellent. The characterization is very good. I love the way the story looks at the effect of submersion into pornographic fiction undermines their moral compass until it suddenly snaps back. Very much looking forward to the aftermath in chapter 4. |
2020-06-24 20:32:38 | How Traditions Start – part 13 | Starry, been looking forward to this chapter. As always it was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. By the end, I was empathizing with Presley, it was a little bit of a marathon. I like it when the writing pace mirrors the story, well done. In the early part of the chapter, I thought that we might see some role play with the parents and it might open up more options if one of the kids overheard them. Just a thought, though the fact that the parents don’t regularly engage with the kids does make this a nice change of pace from so many other stories. |
2020-07-22 15:16:38 | Awkward Anne | This was amazing. It was nice to see characters that aren’t the physically perfect specimens of a perfect teenage life. Her emotions and thoughts felt real. I also liked that you flipped the *********** on the usual mother-daughter-son household. I anticipate the next chapter with baited breath. |
2020-08-16 03:47:47 | A Sorcerer in Downtown Atlanta - Epilogue | I loved this story. I'm very much looking forward to the next saga of Dava and Maddie. I've been binge-reading your stuff for the last week or so, sometimes finishing 4 or 5 chapters a day. Have you given consideration to becoming self-published? This is easily as good as several of the self published authors, and better than a few that turn out high numbers of books of middling quality, but have devoted readerships. I would have liked to see the Illuminati be a little more careful, a little more cautious. The woman at the cabin was a little too mustache-twirling-villain for the way you set up the rest of the Illuminati, and they seem to be moving far too in-the-open for what I would expect of a secret society that deep. Still though, thoroughly enjoying the quality of your writing. It has inspired me to pick mine up again, after letting it sit for far too long. |
2020-08-16 03:54:21 | Gaming for Love | I loved reading this. The characters felt very real, their motivations were relatable and their reactions felt like it could have been a story told by any couple looking back at the beginning of their relationship. I thought you handled the de***********ions of the matches well. I've played Pokemon (TCG) a couple of times, and I'm a long time Magic player. I was able to follow the story you were telling, without getting mired in details that were incomprehensible to all but the most serious players. |
