I think those parts were unnecessary but not unwelcome; I enjoyed every bit of this story. I'll admit that it's not realistic, but this story presents a compelling fantasy universe where the people love each other so much that those relationships, though unrealistic, are still believable within that universe. Gina's sacrifice (which turns out not to be much of a sacrifice after all) and the narrator's selfless love and concern for her give this an emotional depth that really sells the story. It makes the reader cheer for these people even as they're breaking all kinds of social taboos. Plus it's HOT! Well done. |

But even if I'm wrong, I'm really not too interested in winning the contest; it was really just a good excuse to write a couple more stories. I'm satisfied with them, and that's enough for me. I'm glad you enjoyed them though. I don't have a problem being second best. :-) |

I love the ghost story aspect to it, and although it started out kind of gloomy the whole "love conquers all" theme quickly turned that around. I love how you ended it right before she confesses everything. It leaves just a bit of mystery, which is how I think all ghost stories should end. But it's still mega-ultra-happy. My only complaint is just the opposite of the complaints of some others who have commented; I think the sex almost, but not quite, ruins the story. There's this beautiful and spooky romance (albeit twisted because it's between father and daughter) and then suddenly it gets dirty. Of course, I really can't fault you for that; you wrote it for a porn site after all. You still get a positive vote from me. -Daddycums |
